It’s your lucky day, tactical fans!
This is actually really exciting news to fans of rogue, tactical fun. Star Renegades is one of the flashiest, most beautifully retro games I’ve seen in quite a while. Published by Raw Fury and Developed by Massive Damage Games, Star Renegades immediately jumped out at me when I saw it at PAX West. I had to play it, and I was happy I did. Fast forward a couple years later, and now we have more exciting news. Though Star Renegades has previously been playable on Steam, it’s now making its way to consoles. Specifically, Switch, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass in November. Keep in mind it comes to some consoles earlier than others, with most of them getting it November 19th and PS4 getting it November 25th.
You may be wondering why you should care about this tactical rogue-lite. Maybe you don’t trust my assessment of the game quite yet.
