Ubisoft releases a new story trailer and reveals post-launch content for Watch Dogs: Legion
With just a few weeks left to go until the game’s launch, Ubisoft has released a new story trailer and fresh details on their post-launch plans for Watch Dogs: Legion.
The story trailer for the game shows London in chaos as a mysteries entity known as Zero-Day has framed Dedsec for a spate of bombings throughout the city. In addition to shining a light on the story, the trailer showcases the game’s cast, combat, high-tech gadgets, and more.

In addition to the new story trailer, Ubisoft also laid out the post-release content they currently have planned for Watch Dogs: Legion. On December 3, the game will be getting an update that adds the following features to the game’s online component:
- Free-roam open-world co-op where players can team up with their friends for up to four-player co-op and explore the city of London and participate in side activities
- New co-op missions for two-to-four players using new co-op gameplay mechanics and giving players the opportunity to recruit the perfect team
- Four-player co-op Tactical Ops missions which will require teamwork and efficiency
- The first available Player-vs-Player (PvP) mode, Spiderbot Arena, where four-to-eight players control armed spiderbots and compete in a high intensity free-for-all deathmatch
Additionally, next year players will receive a free update adding new characters with unique abilities, a New Game Plus Mode, and additional mission content.
The latest entry in Ubisoft’s popular open-world hacker-centric action series, Watch Dogs: Legion will release on October 29 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and PC. The game will also receive next-gen updated for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S when both consoles launch in November.
