Kickstarter Launched for Lonesome Village

Lonesome Village Kickstarter Launched for September 2021 Release

Indie developers Ogre Pixel have launched their Kickstarter campaign for their new project Lonesome Village. Ogre Pixel is looking to reach the $20,000 goal over the next thirty days.

Ogre Pixel has described the project as an RPG Adventure game, with puzzles, and dungeons and gameplay mechanics inspired by The Legend of Zelda franchise and life-simulators such as Animal Crossing. The game follows a coyote named Wes, who has come across a destroyed town. After a mysterious event wiped out the villager’s homes, Wes investigates the strange happenings in order to rebuild.

“Lonesome Village has been an adventure made with great love and passion during the last seven months, and this process has been an amazing experience. However, there is still a lot of work to do, and this is why we need your help. Help us bring this adventure to life by supporting us on Kickstarter, so we can help Wes rescue the villagers and restore peace in Lonesome Village.” – Steve Durán, Ogre Pixel game director.

The project is currently in development, currently scheduled for release in September 2021 for PC and Nintendo Switch. A demo version is currently available via their Kickstarter page.
