Top 10 Superhero Video Games of The 2010s

7. Lego Marvel Superheroes

Picture everything that Lego Batman set up, and then, imagine Marvel’s version of it. This was the best selling Lego Video game of all time. Featuring all of the best of the Marvel Universe. It was set in a large Lego styled New York City and featured a whopping 180 controllable characters. It also had a heck of a lot of funny lines. And what also helped this game out was that it came out a year after the original Avengers movie.

6. Injustice: Gods Among Us

Talk about bringing the grit back to gaming. Where Lego Marvel went with the funny and fun direction, Injustice reminded us of the gritty realism behind the genre. Bringing superheroes into the forefront of fighting games again. Yet, where Marvel vs. Capcom went the direction of fun beat em up’ Injustice: Gods Among Us teamed up with the teams behind Mortal Kombat, creating a grittier world with a storyline about power abuse to go with it.

5. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

Just when you thought they were finished, they brought it back! After a decade of anticipation, the Marvel versus Capcom series returned with an expanded roster and improved online play. A fun game worthy of a sequel, It was surprisingly somewhat lacking in features but had some new modes of gameplay. Still, a lot of people had waited on this one and it was gratifying for most players, to say the least.
