The latest entry in Falcom’s long-running action-RPG series, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, arrives next February
The PS4 version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will release on February 2, 2021, in North America with the European and Oceania releases following on February 5 and February 12 respectively, publisher NIS America has announced.
Additionally, NISA confirmed the Switch and PS4 versions of Ys IX will launch next Summer.

Released in Japan on September 26, 2019, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is the ninth mainline installment Falcom’s action-RPG series. It stars the fiery-haired swordsman Adol Christin who, after arriving with his companion Dogi at the Romun Empire-annexed city of Balduq, is captured and detained. While imprisoned, Adol meets the mysterious Aprilis, who uses her powers to transform him into a Monstrum – a creature who can exorcise monsters – to combat the threats originating from a dark dimension known as Grimwald Nox and unravel the city’s secrets.
