AtGames’ Legends Ultimate Home Arcade Is Here To Supercharge Your Game Room

Out today, AtGames’ Legends Ultimate Home Arcade includes 300 licensed games, adds support for online gaming, eSports, and more.

Legends Ultimate Home Arcade

Following the recent success of consumer-grade arcade cabinets such as the popular Arcade1Up series of licensed machines and the recently Kickstarted iiRcade, AtGames today announced the availability of the Legends Ultimate Home Arcade.

Retailing for $599.99, the machine certainly isn’t cheap. However, it comes packed with over 300 built-in games from Data East, Atari, Jaleco, Taito, The Tetris Company, Disney, and more. And if that’s not enough games, don’t fret. Users can even add titles to the cabinet through AtGames’ ever-growing subscription service ArcadeNet and BYOG, a platform that allows players to stream PC-based titles from the top digital distribution platforms from AtGames’ cloud servers or your PC to the cabinet.

While many of the games bundled with the Legends Ultimate Home Arcade are natural fits such as the coin-op classics Cadash, Centipede, and Elevator Action, other choices are much more interesting. For example, it includes Technopop’s criminally underrated Sega Genesis FPS Zero Tolerance. Another odd yet welcome choice is the inclusion of the Taiwanese RPG Brave Battle Saga: Legend of The Magic Warrior, which saw a localized release thanks to Piko Interactive.

You can find the full list of games included in the Legends Ultimate Home Arcade here.

Legends Ultimate Home Arcade is designed to be a premium arcade experience. The cabinet features a 24″ HD LCD monitor, Wi-Fi connectivity, and sounds provided by a pair of down-firing stereo-speakers. Additionally, the two-player control panel comes populated with two sets of six-button controls, high-performance spinners, and trackballs to make each arcade classic feel all the more authentic.

“After overcoming the global supply challenges due to COVID-19, we can now put a greater supply of one of the most sought-after home arcades into retail,” says Dr. Ping-Kang Hsiung, CEO of AtGames. “More families than ever can now join the tens of thousands of existing users who have fun playing this versatile machine on a daily basis.”

You can find the cabinet’s full list of features below:

  •  300 licensed arcade and console games built-in
  • Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity
  • Arcade-quality hardware
  •  Optional arcade-style pinball buttons
  •  Online gaming including eSports!
  • ArcadeNet® games service
  •  Stream gameplay directly to popular streaming services
  •  BYOG™ (Bring Your Own Game)
  •  APL™ (Arcade Play Link)
  • AtGames leagues and leaderboards (ALL)
  • Optional accessories like light guns, interactive marquees, steering wheels, and more!

Needless to say, the Legends Ultimate Home Arcade looks to be an exciting addition to the budding home-arcade scene with its wealth of features and versatile design. Only time will tell if it proves to be a must-have cabinet. But it certainly looks like a capable addition to any game room.

Those interested in purchasing the cabinet can do so here.
