Giraffe and Annika is the debut game from Gitaroo Man and Elite Beat Agents illustrator and character modeler Atsushi Saito’s new studio, atelier mimina. It combines lush 3D visuals and rhythm-based adventure in a colorful storybook world.
You can find a summary of the game’s story below courtesy of the publisher:
“After waking from a strange dream, Annika finds herself stranded on the mysterous “Spica Island” with no recollection of how she got there. In order to recover her memories, she must team up with a boy named Giraffe and the witch Lily to find three special star fragments hidden within Spica. Meet charming characters, explore vivid dungeons, and battle to the rhythm of music in this magical adventure!”
The game is now available for $29.99 digitally. Additionally, a limited Musical Mayhem Edition ($49.99) is available at select retailers, including the NISA Store. The Musical Mayhem Edition includes the game, as well as a soundtrack CD, “Annika’s Adventure Log” art book, and a collector’s box.
