Developer Red Martyr’s Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming title Saint Kotar has been doing quite well for itself, already having amassed almost 90% of its funding goal since its initial creation. However, with only 8 days to go on the campaign, they’re asking any and all who are interested to help make sure that the development of this game becomes a reality.

A psychological horror game boasting 20+ hours of gameplay, Saint Kotar will have players exploring over 70 different locations in and around the small rural town of Sveti Kotar. By taking control of characters Benedek Dohany and Nikolay Kalyakin, players will be able to investigate a gruesome string of murders and other strange phenomena—both of which are supposedly related to devil worship and witchcraft—in order to discover the truth behind what is truly going on.

A prologue to the game, Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask is also currently available for free on Steam. The game, along with acting as a gameplay mechanic sampler, allows players to uncover additional information about the world of Saint Kotar before diving headfirst into Saint Kotar itself.

As of the publishing of this article, Saint Kotar currently stands at 849 backers and $39,793 (€34,890) of its $44,480 (€39,000), with 8 days left in their campaign. And, while things are looking good for Red Martyr Entertainment, nothing is certain until the goal has actually been met. Have you already backed this game yourself? Will you be? Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
