Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne Collector's Edition

Spike Chunsoft has announced today that Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne will be on its way to a console (or PC!) near you later this year.

Based upon the popular isekai Re:ZERO series, The Prophecy of the Throne begins one month after Subaru’s life in another world began, where an emissary sent by the royal castle suddenly appears with news that the royal selection has been postponed but offers no reason why. Subaru and his friends, unsettled by this news, travel to the royal capital only to find that a sixth candidate has claimed their stake for the throne. The problem with this (aside from the fact that there’s more competition) is that the Dragon Stone only prophesized five candidates—meaning that there’s an imposter in the mix. Will Subaru & co. be able to uncover the truth behind these mysteries before it’s too late? There’s only one way to find out!

Alongside the game itself, Spike Chunsoft has also announced Day One and Collector’s Editions of The Prophecy of the Throne. Want to know more? Then just keep reading!

The Day One Edition is set to include:

  • Pins featuring Emilia, Subaru, Rem, and newcomer Melty
  • A collectible pin carrying case

The Collector’s Edition is set to include:

  • Pins featuring Emilia, Subaru, Rem, and newcomer Melty
  • A colletible pin carrying case
  • A full-color art book including concept art, sketches, and more
  • A SteelBook collector’s display case

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
