Knight Squad is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, developer Chainsawsome Games has announced.
First released on PC in 2015, Knight Squad is a Bomberman-inspired competitive multiplayer title that pits up to eight knights against each other as they battle it out for glory. The Switch version of the game is priced at $14.99 and includes the original game along with all the content from the Extra Chivalrous DLC expansion.

“Since the very first day the Nintendo Switch was announced, fans have been asking that we bring Knight Squad to that platform, it’s just a natural fit,” said Laurent Mercure, Communications Officer at Chainsawesome Games. “We’re a tiny studio and we had our hands full with another project at the time, we couldn’t jump on it immediately. But it’s happening now and we’re super excited. With its minimalist controllers, family time vibe and focus on local multiplayer, Knight Squad is right at home on the Nintendo platform.”
Alex Lupella scored the original game a 4.5/5 in his review saying, “There was a magic to Knight Squad, something I haven’t felt with party games in a long time. The games were quick and it was so easy to pick up I never felt like I had the advantage when playing with new people.”
