Top 10 Free Classic Doom Engine Games

Blade of Agony
blade of agony screen 1

Blade of Agony. Just, wow. It almost feels unfair to classify it as a mod. It’s a whole new game based on the various Wolfenstein titles over the years, distilled into classic shooting at its finest. We got the usual stuff, such as mowing down Nazis all over the world, but there are also other objectives and even some stealth involved. And what would a Wolfenstein game be without a bit of sci-fi and occult themes? Yep, Blade of Agony has them too. It’s just a stunning package and an example of a free game that would totally be worth buying. Fortunately, you may download the current version for free here. Three episodes are planned, but the first two are currently available for play. Go on, you won’t regret it.

This is just a sampling of the amazing amount of content available for Doom. Check out Doomworld to see how deep the rabbit *really* goes.
