Earn Bells FAST with this NEW weird trick! Raccoons are FURIOUS!
When Animal Crossing: New Horizons first released, everyone quick enough to take advantage of the original duplication glitch was able to make some serious Bells FAST with a super weird glitch. And while that was patched fast, ingenious gamers have been able to discover a new duplication glitch that yields Bells without the need for a second player.
Want to try the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons duplication glitch for yourself? Cool, thought so. Here’s how:
First, you’ll need three 4 x 4 tables, one 2 x 1 table, and one 2 x 1 item; note that the item is what will be duplicated, so choose something that can sit on top of a table and is worth the Bells. For this exercise, I chose the LCD TV (50 in.) as my item with 3 wooden block tables and an imperial low table for my tables.
Once you have the required items, go into your house and choose an empty room. Place one of your big tables on the back middle section of your room, then place the smaller table and item to the side of it.
Now go into decorator mode by pressing the down arrow on the D-pad. You can then pick up items by hand without the use of your character. Move over to the table with the TV on it and press “L” to ensure you pick up the table and not the TV. You’ll then move both items together over to the left side of the table.
It’s okay that the placement outline is red — that’s exactly what we want. Make sure it’s hovering over the middle area of the left side of the table, then place it down.
It should fall like this:
Pick it up again and put it down the same way on the two remaining sides of the tables.
If it falls like this each time with the orientation changing each time, you’re doing it correctly.
Once you’ve completed each side, get out of decorating mode.
Remember where the desk and TV fell each time you tried to place it on top of the table? Well, there’s now an *invisible* TV where the table once was. You can’t see it now, but you can “catch” it by placing tables where you had them in decorating mode.
Once those tables are placed, leave the room.
After you’ve gained control of your character, walk back into the room to see your duplicated TVs.
Now I wasn’t able to master it perfectly like some YouTubers, but I was able to do this a few times without any major issues.
If, for whatever reason, you experience any weirdness (I had a TV floating in midair that I couldn’t let my character pick up), go back into room decorating mode to pick up furniture, sell off any excess TVs, then save and quit to start all over again. I sold off two or three TVs at a time and repeated maybe five or six times, earning back much more than I spent on my TV.
And that’s how you complete the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons duplication glitch! Will you be taking advantage of it, or passing over it altogether? Let us know in the comments!
