1971 Project Helios is Wasteland on Ice, heading to consoles and PC June 9th.
1971 Project Helios, Madrid-based developer RecoTechnology’s upcoming turn-based strategy title that combines modern warfare military tactics and close-quarters combat, will be making its way to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on June 9th.
The game, which takes place in a frozen dystopian world, allows players to take control of eight unique characters who’ve come together to rescue a kidnapped scientist who holds the key to saving the planet from the clutches of a powerful paramilitary group. Throughout their journey, they’ll battle a variety of enemies ranging from elite soldiers to savage scavengers, investigate military outposts and secretive cults, and manage limited resources in an icy wasteland.
