‘Resident Evil 3’ Gets New Story Trailer Introducing Jill Valentine

Resident Evil 3’s latest trailer highlights keys moments in Jill’s story ahead of the survival horror title’s April 3rd launch.

With Resident Evil 3’s launch just around the corner, Capcom has released a new story trailer for the game shining the spotlight on S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team member Jill Valentine.

The trailer, which begins with a brief teaser for RE3’s companion title Resident Evil: Resistance, showcases nearly 3 minutes of scenes from Jill’s story. While Capcom’s previous trailers have focused mainly on the ruined streets of Raccoon City, this time around, we get a good look at the underground, hospital, and umbrella’s shady lab facility. Additionally, the video also features plenty of back and forth between Jill and the game’s co-protagonist U.B.C.S. operative Carlos Oliveira.

Capcom has also revealed that Jill Valentine will be making her way to Resident Evil: Resistance as a playable character in a future update.

Resident Evil 3 launches next Friday, April 3rd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will include Resident Evil: Resistance. This asymmetric multiplayer game pits survivors against a Mastermind, who can use cards to summon monsters and set traps to stop the survivors from escaping.

So, what are your thoughts on the latest trailer for RE3? Did you notice any significant changes from the original story in the footage that was shown? Sound off in the comments and let us know.
