Pre-orders open at 10 a.m.; Classic Edition of Panzer Dragoon: Remake will include a Saturn style case.
Another day, another surprise release has been revealed by the patron saints of physical media at Limited Run Games. Today the company announced plans to open pre-orders for a physical Switch version of the MegaPixel Studio and Forever Entertainment’s Panzer Dragoon: Remake.
Pre-orders for the game will kick off at 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 27 and will remain open for four weeks over at Limited Run Games’ online storefront.
As you’d expect by now, two versions of the game will be available, a standard version as well as a Classic Edition which comes in a Sega Saturn-inspired case.
You can check out the Classic Edition in the glam shot below:
Additionally, SEGA fans can also find both the standard and Classic Edition versions of the PS4 and Switch versions of the DotEmu and Lizard Cube’s Streets of Rage 4 up for pre-order at LRG right now. Pre-orders for the physical editions will run until a week after the game launches later this spring.
Funny enough, this is our second piece of Panzer Dragoon related news today. Earlier we reported that Panzer Dragoon series composer Saori Kobayashi, who composed the music for Panzer Dragoon Saga and Panzer Dragoon Orta, would be returning to provide the soundtrack for Panzer Dragoon: Remake.
So, will you be adding either of these physical versions of the game to your Switch library? You better believe I’ll be picking up the Classic Edition bright and early when it goes live tomorrow at LRG. Sound off in the comments and let us know!
