How To Get Fish Bait In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

If you want to catch bigger fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll need to get your grubby mitts on some Fish Bait. To do so, you’ll first need to hit the beach in search of Manila Clams.

Unfortunately, these little buggers are shellfish and not eager to give up their locations. To find them, walk along the beach and keep an eye out for small holes that spew water. Use your shovel to dig on these holes and you can find a Manila Clam.

After you dig up a clam,  return to Residential Services and use the workbench to find the crafting recipe for Fish Bait, which requires one Manila Clam to make.

So, that’s it. That’s all it takes to whip up a fresh batch of fish bait in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Good luck reeling in the big ones and raking in the bells with this helpful crafting recipe. Be sure to stay tuned to Hey Poor Player for more guides to help make your island life easier.
