With today’s release of Yakuza 5 on the PS4, the Dragon of Dojima’s saga is now complete on PS4.
The Yakuza Remastered Collection is now available for the PlayStation 4, giving players the chance to experience polished ports of Sega’s underworld epics Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 in one package.
To celebrate the collection’s release, Sega has shared a launch trailer offering a look at the gritty criminal drama, over-the-top action, and addicting mini-games that await in Yakuza 5 Remastered, which just released today alongside the bundle. Check it out below:
More than just a mere port to the PS4, the games featured in the Yakuza Remastered Collection have been re-localized. The English scripts for each title were revised and rewritten for each release. Additionally, some of the more controversial content that was removed from previous western localizations have been restored, such as the Massage Parlor and Cabaret Minigames in Yakuza 3, as well as several substories that didn’t make the initial cut.
The Yakuza Remastered Collection is available both digitally and at retail for $59.99. The physical version of the collection includes Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 on two discs. As a cool bonus, it also includes a collectible PS4 Amaray case for Yakuza 5, which was previously an exclusively digital release in North America.
