Dive deep into a game’s code to squash rampaging bugs and glitches in Code Shifter, now available on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Code Shifter is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, publisher Arc System Works has announced.
In case you missed the game’s announcement, Code Shifter is a retro-inspired, side-scrolling action-platformer that puts players in control of Stella, a game developer working for “Awesome Rainbow Corp.” While she’s scrambling to iron out the last glitches on the eve of the company’s most anticipated release, strange errors suddenly manifest. To combat the growing glitches, Stella writes a debug program known as “Code Shifter,” which allows her digital avatar “Sera” to enter the game and rid it of the rampaging bugs that threaten its launch.
In addition to her new digital form of Sera, Stella can also transform into over a 100 characters from such popular Arc System Works properties as River City Girls, Guilty Gear, the long-running Kunio franchise, and BlazBlue.
