EarthNight Lands on PlayStation 4

EarthNight Released for PS4 Following Steam and Switch

US indie-game developers Cleaversoft have today released their new project EarthNight on PlayStation 4. The game was originally released on Steam and Nintendo Switch last month, on 3rd December 2019.

EarthNight is an illustrated 2D side-scrolling platformer game set in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian future. Following the “Dragon Apocalypse,” the game’s heroes Sydney and Stanley venture out of the human’s refuge into space to save their planet from the dragons. The game has so far received mostly positive reviews.

The game’s animation was rendered by hand by Paul “Mathatten” Davey, and the game’s soundtrack, composed by Paul “Chipocrite” Weinstein, combines “chiptunes” created using GameBoys and features contributions from Hitoshi Sakimoto, known for Final Fantasy XII and Valkyria Chronicles.

“EarthNight has been an epic journey for myself and my team of rock stars over the past seven years. This process has been such an incredible ride, and we hope PlayStation fans love the game as much as we enjoyed making it.” – Rich Siegel, Cleaversoft founder.

EarthNight is available now from Steam, Nintendo Switch eShop, and the PlayStation Store. More information can be found on the Cleaversoft website.
