Streets of Rage 4 Is Getting A Limited Physical Release

Limited Run Games steps up to produce a physical version of DotEmu’s hugely anticipated beat ’em up.

Streets of Rage 4

Limited Run Games has confirmed via their social media accounts today that they will be producing a limited physical release for Streets of Rage 4.

Whether this means we’ll be seeing a special collector’s edition version of Streets of 4 or not remains unclear. However, given the company’s penchant for producing rather robust CE’s for their bigger name releases (including DotEmu’s own Ys Origins and Wonder Boy:  The Dragon’s Trap), it seems like a real possibility.

We at Hey Poor Player will be sure to keep you posted as soon as more concrete details on the Limited Run Games release of Streets of Rage 4  become available.

Developed in cooperation with LizardCube and Guard Crush Games, Streets of Rage 4 is the first new game in the series to be released in 26 years. It features the return of ex-cops Adam Hunter, Axel Stone, and Blaze Fielding, joined by Adam’s daughter Cherry, as they once again take the fight to the evil forces of the Syndicate. The game features fast-paced combat, a revamped combo and juggling system, and a soundtrack produced by series composers Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima, Street Fighter II composer Yoko Shimomura, Jet Set Radio composer Hideki Naganuma, and Ninja Gaiden composer Keiji Yamagishi.

Streets of Rage 4 releases this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
