Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Certainly not the folks at Bethesda Softworks.

The Rockville, Maryland-based publisher has released a substantial update today for the recent releases of DOOM and DOOM II, offering a wealth of new features and improvements to make your demon-slaying more enjoyable.

The update, which is now available for the PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android versions of the game includes the addition of add-on Support for John Romero’s SIGIL and other player-created WADs, 60FPS gameplay, and quality of life improvements such as added aspect ratios to choose from, Quick Save and Load, Level Select options, and more.

The company also announced plans to gauge community interest in which WADs to include in future updates. That said, you might want to start singing the praises of your favorite player-created content offerings over at the official Bethesda Forums to let your voice be heard.
