Cat Quest II’s Free Update Adds New Game+ Mode, Smarter Partners, and More

Singaporean indie studio The Gentlebros fluff up their action RPG Cat Quest II with a fresh dose of content and improvements.


UK-based publisher PQube and developer The Gentlebros have released a free update for their charming, open-world action RPG Cat Quest II.

The update, which is available today, introduces several new features, including the addition of a New Game+ mode, which allows players to restart their adventure on a higher difficulty setting while retaining all of their skills, experience, and equipment. Players can increase of difficulty of the game themselves by adding up to a staggering +999 more levels to the game’s enemies.

In addition to the New Game+ mode, today’s update also improves the AI of your partner in the game’s single-player mode, addresses balancing issues, and adds the ability to view completion stats for dungeons, items, and quests in the inventory screen.

Cat Quest II is now available for the PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
