Good news, Zelda fans. Indie developer Brace Yourself Games and Nintendo’s Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda mashup, Cadence of Hyrule, got a surprise injection of fresh DLC today.

Dubbed Octavo’s Ode, the free DLC chapter centers around Cadence of Hyrule’s titular, golden lute-wielding antagonist, allowing players to discover his true motivations.

In case you haven’t experienced Cadence of Hyrule yet, now is the perfect time to see what it’s all about. The game is currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop at a discounted price of just $17.49 (a $7.50 savings from its regular $24.99 asking price).

So, my rhythmic adventurer, will you be diving into Octavo’s Ode over the holidays? Sound off in the comments and let us know.
