Yakuza Xbox One

While Sony’s PlayStation and the Sega’s Yakuza franchise have been synonymous for the past several console generations, it looks like Microsoft’s shiny black box will finally be able to share in the shady underworld drama. Just announced at X019 in London, SEGA of America and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has confirmed that Yakuza will be making its way to the Xbox One and Windows 10.

Sega plans to release Yakuza 0Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2  early next year for Xbox One with Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC, giving Xbox users the chance to finally experience what’s widely regarded as one of Sega’s most memorable franchises in recent decades.

Does this mean we’ll be seeing Yakuza 7: Like A Dragon on the Xbox One down the road? Only time will tell, but it certainly seems likely.
