Those in North America who want to get a taste of the anime-inspired action won’t have to wait too long. The game is now available in North America on Steam. Additionally, it’ll arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch next Tuesday, October 29.
Dusk Diver puts players in control of highschool student Yang Yumo (voiced by Rina Sato, of Persona 5, Bleach, Ao no Exorcist fame), whose latent spiritual powers are awoken after phantoms appear in her hometown. Over the course of her adventure, she’ll explore the bustling Asian city of Ximending and Youshanding, a mirror world with two faces while battling phantoms and recruiting guardians, powerful gods who can augment Yang’s combat prowess with their powerful abilities.
In addition to combat, Dusk Diver also features RPG style mechanics that will allow you to enhance your character by frequenting shops, sampling the local fare, and forging bonds with the guardians you encounter.
