Bandai Namco has announced that two new playable characters will be added to the Omega Force-developed musou game One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4: Charlotte Katakuri and Luffy Fourth Gear Snakeman. They also provided the first look at how the characters will appear in the game when it launches next year.

Charlotte Katakuri is able to flick jellybeans at opponents like bullets. He is the second son of the Charlotte family, and one of the Big Mom Pirates’ Three Sweet Commanders, generally considered the strongest of them. He is strong enough that the World Government labels him as an extremely dangerous threat.

Luffy in his Fourth Gear Snakeman form sacrifices the defense of the other Fourth Gear forms in exchange for incredible speed. He is able to strike with great precision, with his punches able to home in on evasive enemies. He brings this new power to the table in an attempt to stop Charlotte Katakuri where no one else can.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is set for release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and Steam in 2020.
