A Lot More Alien Shooting Than The Swiss Version
Space Robinson, a blast-happy space action adventure from Luxorix Games (and published by Alawar Premium) will be coming out on Steam for the PC on Oct 7th, 9 pm PDT/Oct 8th 6 am CEST. However, if you just can’t wait for some top-down space shooting action then the open beta demo is available to everyone on Steam leading up to the release date. Luxorix Games said in a press release:
“Players will enjoy a Hardcore RPG-action on a procedurally generated planet. Collect resources, craft weapons, unlock a cute but ruthless pet-mate and then choose your way to die!”
Space Robinson places the player in the shoes of an engineer employed by the intergalactic corporation named VAST, where you’re assigned to the distant Colony 21 to perform maintenance works. Surprisingly it turns out the planet was a bit more hostile to humans than made out in your contract, forcing you o fight for survivial. Surviving Colony 21 will require collecting resources, building turrets, learning the vast wilderness and defeating endless waves of xenological beasties. The landscape is procedurally generated, so you’ll never know what to expect! You can even unlock a dog to help you on your quest! With different enemies spawning during day and night, and a rogue-lite game over system that forces you to restart your adventure upon every death, you’ll need every advantage you can get.
