Trials of Mana

Square Enix has been hard at work of bringing their 3D remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 to life since it was announced earlier this Summer. Now we finally know when we’ll be able to get our hands on the game thanks to the company’s announcement during tonight’s Nintendo Direct.

Trials of Mana will arrive on the Nintendo Switch (and PlayStation 4) on April 24, 2020. To celebrate the announcement, Square Enix has released a brand new trailer highlighting the game’s lush visuals, character models, and colorful fantasy world. Check it out below:

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of decades, Trials of Mana is the 1995 sequel to Squaresoft’s action-RPG Seiken Densetsu 2 (known as Secret of Mana in the West). The game received its first official English port on the recently released Collection of Mana on the Nintendo Switch, which featured a translated version of the Super Famicom title alongside Final Fantasy Adventure and Secret of Mana.

Stay tuned for more details on this exciting remake as they become available.
