The Ninja Saviors – Return of the Warriors brings remastered cyborg ninja action to the PS4 and Switch on August 30
Fans of Taito’s classic arcade action titles are in for a treat next month. ININ Games announced today that The Ninja Saviors – Return of the Warriors will be making its retail debut on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 30 in North America.
A reboot of the 1994 Super Nintendo title Ninja Warriors Again, which was an enhanced port of Taito’s hit 1987 arcade title, The Ninja Saviors – Return of the Warriors is a beat ’em up that allows players to choose from one of five cybernetic ninjas as they combat the evil forces of Banglar and his legions of soldiers, robots, and other deadly foes. The game has been totally reworked to include a two-player cooperative mode, online leaderboards, and two brand new playable protagonists to control as you battle through 8 grueling stages.
Despite the game’s updated features, Taito has taken great pains to make sure it feels like an authentic evolution of the arcade original. The title was developed by its original developers, TENGO PROJECT, who’ve totally overhauled the visuals and audio. Additionally, TAITO’s house band ZUNTATA has returned to lay down the Daddy Mulk with an arranged soundtrack comprised of tracks lifted from both the arcade and Super Nintendo versions of The Ninja Warriors.

As an added bonus for fans of the series, the physical version of The Ninja Saviors – Return of the Warriors will include a poster, a sticker set and manual.
