Visual Novel/Strip Puzzler Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa Out Now In Europe

PQube and Art Co.’s naughty VN puzzler Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa arrives in Europe, North American release to follow next week

Publisher PQube has announced that their genre-bending investigative visual novel/match-3 puzzler Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa is now available in Europe for the Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam. The North American release will follow on June 4th.

Developed in association with Art Co. Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa is set against the backdrop of Fujisawa Academy, where every student is hiding a dark secret. The game’s story unfolds across seven chapters, with each chapter containing its own mystery for the player to uncover. Of course, like any good investigator, you’ll need to discover these secrets by utilizing your puzzle game prowess (at least I think that’s how all the best gumshoes get the job done)! Using the power of Kotodama, skillful sleuths will match gems and unleash combos to fill their ‘Happy Gauge’ within the allotted number of moves. Adding insult to injury, a crushing defeat in Kotodama strips your opponent not only of their secrets but also their clothing!

Oh, Japan. I’m begging you. Please never change.

For those picking up the retail version of the game, every copy will include a  set of art cards along with a collection of stickers, featuring chibi versions of the game’s cast of characters.
