The long-awaited spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to release on June 18 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Switch version to follow on June 25

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

With less than a month left until the game releases, pre-orders are now live for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Steam, GOG, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

To celebrate the announcement, the developer has released a short gameplay trailer. The footage, while brief, does a good job of showcasing what we’ll see when the game releases next month. It features a variety of interesting locales like gardens, gilded corridors, and trap-laden dungeons. We also get a look at a variety of monsters as well as the game’s protagonist Miriam’s impressive combat abilities.

So, what are you waiting for? Check out the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Pre-order trailer below:

Created by Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi and developed by ArtPlay, DICO, and retro-minded studio WayForward Technologies, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night takes its inspiration from 1997’s Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The game puts players in control of Miriam, an orphan who, after waking up from a 10-year coma, must make her way through Demon Castle to confront the evil Gebel and prevent monsters from taking over the world.

It’s been a long wait, but at long last, it’s nearly over. The game is currently slated to release on June 18 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version will follow on June 25.

So, how does it feel to know the game is finally making its way to retail after all these years of waiting? Are you eager to dive into the game when it releases in just a few short weeks? Let us know in the comments.
