Itching for some high-octane, anime-infused fighting games on the Nintendo Switch? Well then you’re in for some good news, because publisher PQube and developer Arc System Works have announced the official release of the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack.

A two-in-one celebration of all things Guilty Gear, the Anniversary Pack contains both the original Guilty Gear as well as Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R (what a mouthful!). European collectors are also in for a bit of extra luck, as both a Day One Edition, featuring a personal letter from series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari and an artbook with previous unreleased works, and Limited Edition, featuring a super-stylish accessory pouch, are available for purchase as well.

The Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack is now available digitally in North America, and physically and digitally in Europe. Only interested in one of the two games that the Anniversary Pack has to offer? No need to worry, both Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R are available for individual purchase digitally. Are you excited to dig back into the roots of the Guilty Gear franchise? Which of the two games are you looking forward to more? Let us know in the comments below!

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
