Fresh footage showcases combat, familiar foes, and hand-drawn art of Streets of Rage 4
DotEmu has released the first gameplay trailer for their wildly anticipated sequel to Sega’s iconic beat ’em up series, Streets of Rage 4.
The trailer is brief, clocking in at just shy of a minute, but it offers a solid look at the game as ex-cops Blaze Fielding and Axel Stone pummel hordes of Syndicate hoodlums. Here we get a look at the game’s vibrant, hand-drawn art style, punchy combo system, special moves, and some familiar locations showcased in previous screens including a pier, Chinatown market, and railway along with what looks to be a sewer and possibly a junkyard area.
Well, what are you waiting for? Check out the trailer for yourself below:
Streets of Rage 4 is set to release later this year. At the moment, DotEmu has not confirmed which consoles the game will be making its way to. However, we think it’s safe to assume it will find its way to the Switch, PS4, and Xbox One at some point. As always, stay tuned to Hey Poor Player for more news on this exciting brawler as it becomes available.
