Ever wish that you could take Battle Chasers: Nightwar (read our review here!) with you to play on the go? Well, you’re in luck, because developer Airship Syndicate and publisher HandyGames have announced that the game is headed to a mobile device near you.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a classically inspired turn-based RPG that features deep and complex dungeon-delving, turn-based combat, and a story-rich narrative that develops as players explore the world around them. Each of Nightwar‘s randomly generated dungeons features secrets to uncover, puzzles to solve, and enemies to defeat, with the game’s overworld holding nearly as many secrets as well. And, perhaps best of all, Nightwar is confirmed to be a fully premium mobile game — no need to worry about those pesky microtransactions.

“The idea of Battle Chasers: Nightwar on mobile devices is so exciting!” said CEO & Creative Director of Airship Syndicate and Battle Chasers franchise creator Joe Madureira. “It’s a perfect RPG for playing on the go, and anyone who doesn’t have access to a PC or console can also join in the adventure. I for one cannot wait!”

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is slated to release “soon” on iOS and Android mobile devices. Will you be checking out this pocket edition of Battle Chasers for yourself? Let us know in the comments below!

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
