Get ready to fight for your life once again, because Koei Tecmo has announced today that Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will be making its way Westward.

The latest in the Attack on Titan video game franchise, Final Battle takes place during the third season of the Attack on Titan anime and features a Story Mode whose narrative occurs through multiple characters’ points of view, as well as new, original episodes. Final Battle will also feature over 40 different playable characters, thanks to the inclusion of some of Season 3’s most prominent faces.

Final Battle will feature new gameplay experiences as well, such as the addition of a frenetic anti-personnel combat feature using anti-personnel omni directional mobility gear, and an all-new reclamation mode which will have players scrambling to recover outside territories. Thunder Spears will also be making their battle debut, giving players an edge against Armored Titan when they need it… which they probably will.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is slated to release on July 5 of this year both physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One X, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam. Koei Tecmo will also be releasing an Upgrade Pack for those who already own the original Attack on Titan 2. Are you looking forward to clashing with the Titans once more? Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
