New story mode missions included as well
Developer AREA35 and publisher UNTIES have announced the release of a new update for Tiny Metal.
Originally released on December 21, 2017, Tiny Metal is a tactical military game highly reminiscent of the Advance Wars series. Patch 1.1.0 will include an all-new “Act V” for the campaign, picking up where the story originally ended. Even more important, however, is the fact that this patch will finally be adding in multiplayer — a feature whose missing presence caused quite a bit of unrest from Tiny Metal fans. The new multiplayer feature will allow players to go toe-to-toe, or rather tank-to-tank, against friends and foes alike online in one of 11 different map.
“Tiny Metal already delivers a great single player experience with deep, nostalgia-inducing gameplay reminiscent of Advance Wars,” said AREA35’s Hiroaki Yura. “Now we’re taking it a step further, enhancing what’s already there while opening it up to the new opportunities for fun and strategy that can only come from playing against another human being.”
Tiny Metal is available for purchase on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, and will be on sale for 50% off on the eShop and PlayStation Store, and 60% off on Steam.
