Dragon Ball FighterZ Gets Festive Holiday Update

Kamehame-ho-ho-ho!

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment delivered some holiday cheer to fighting game fans with a holiday-themed update for their one-on-one brawler, Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The November update includes the addition of FighterZ Tournaments, daily tournaments with unique rules. There are 70 different tournament rules such as Sharpened Senses, which turn off both health and Ki gauges as well as King of the Kamehameha matches, which restrict character selection to solely Kamehameha users.

In addition to the FighterZ Tournaments, the update introduces Z Trophies and Z Trophy Rooms. Dragon Ball FighterZ players can earn Z Trophies from playing in tournaments. These trophies can then be displayed in their own personal Z Trophy Rooms. Bandai Namco Entertainment notes that additional trophy rooms can be purchased using Zeni, the game’s in-game currency.

Lastly, the November update includes Holiday-themed Z Capsules that grant the player Christmas themed stamps, outfit color schemes, and lobby avatars.

Take a look at all of the festive fisticuffs that await in the trailer below:

Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
