‘The Thing’-inspired Survival Game ‘Distrust’ To Chill PS4 Owners This Month

Battle the arctic wastes and your own delusions in Distrust, coming to PS4 next week


Following a successful release on Steam last August, Distrust, developer Cheerdealers’ tense survival game inspired by John Carpenter’s 1982 horror classic The Thing, will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 digitally on November 16th courtesy of Badland Publishing.

Set in a randomly generated antarctic base, the game puts players in control of a group of explorers who’ve become stranded in the frozen wastes following a helicopter crash. The goal of the game is to make it back home in one piece. However, this is easier said than done. Players will need to battle the harsh Antarctic landscape, insanity, and an unknown force that’s stalking the survivors and sucking the life from their bodies.
