Arc System Works’ frantic fighter slugs its way onto the Switch next February

It looks like the Switch is getting another hardcore fighting game to be proud of. Publisher PQube has announced plans to bring Arc System Works’ brutal anime brawler, BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition to the Switch next year.
The final chapter in the long-running saga, BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition is massive. The game features a sprawling story mode that clocks in at over 40 hours, 30 playable characters, 60 arenas, and all of the game’s previously-released DLC.
This isn’t PQube’s first effort to bring BlazBlue to Nintendo’s new handheld/console hybrid. The company released BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, a mash-up title featuring characters from the BlazBlue, Persona 4: Arena, Under Night: In-Birth, and RWBY universes last June. That being said, here’s hoping this is just the start of a healthy stable of fighters on the platform.
BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition will make its way to the Nintendo Switch on February 8th, 2019.
