Puyo Puyo eSports for Switch and PS4 was recently announced at TGS 2018, and already there are signs it’s planned for launch in America. Attendees playing the TGS demo noticed a peculiar detail in the player profile screen, where all of America’s 50 states can be chosen as their respective location. Sounds like an open-and-shut case, eh?

However, while Puyo Puyo eSports is confirmed for a Japanese launch on October 25th, no such date has been given for NA or anywhere else. We’ll be sure to report the inevitable whenever SEGA spills the beans.
It should also be noted the game will be a download-exclusive, offered for a cheaper price at 1,990 yen (approximately $17.98 US dollars). We imagine an NA release will echo a similar route.
