Get ready to start aiming for that Wizard King title, because Bandai Namco has announced the official release of Black Clover: Quartet Knights.

Based on the highly popular Black Clover anime and manga series, Quartet Knights is a third-person, combat-oriented action game that will allow players to take control of Asta, Yuno, and other Black Clover fan favorites as they go toe-to-toe with enemies in magical, high-octane battles. Players will not only be able to embark on an all-new Black Clover story in the Quartet Knights single player mode, but will also be able to take the fight online, grouping up with others as they duke it out in 4v4 battles. Players will also be able to take on specialized offensive, defensive, and support roles during battles in order to help guide their team to victory.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights combines a compelling and exclusive new single player story along with intense online gameplay, letting friends join forces to contribute their specialized attack, defense or support skills in battle,” said Bandai Namco America Vice President of Marketing Eric Hartness. “Dedicated Magic Knights can team up with each other online to engage in dramatic battles that will leave friends recounting countless stories of daring adventure.”

Black Clover: Quartet Knights is now available in North America for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Will you be joining the fight to become the next Wizard King yourself? Let us know in the comments below!

Starting out with nothing more than a Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land, Kenny has happily been gaming for almost his entire life. Easily-excitable and a bit on the chatty side, Kenny has always been eager to share gaming-related thoughts, opinions, and news with others and has been doing so on Hey Poor Player since 2014 and has previously worked with both PKMNcast and SCATcast. Although his taste in gaming spreads across a wide number of companies and consoles, Kenny holds a particular fondness for Nintendo handheld consoles. He is also very proud of his amiibo collection. You can also find him on Twitter @SuperBayleef talking about video games and general nonsense. Some of his favorite games include Tetris Attack, Pokémon Black Version 2, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Yo-kai Watch, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Mega Man X, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (among many others).
