What, thought they were done with 3DS ports?

Still can’t get enough of your 3DS? Neither can Nintendo, and so we have the latest 3DS port in Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn. A re-release of Wii’s 2010 sidescroller, while this port naturally includes some new features, you may want to initially witness how much it looks like the original game!
So what’s actually new? For starters, Kirby’s got access to new pick-ups, which grant power-ups such as bigger yarn-balls and whirlwinds to suck in beads. Meanwhile, if you felt the original was too easy, a new Devilish Mode has Kirby outrunning a predatory demon out for his life (by the way, is that a life meter we spot?). King Dedede and Meta Knight also star in some exclusive mini-games, although aside from some brief footage, details on those remain sparse.
We’ll have more information on Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn as it nears launch in 2019. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
