Really, who’s surprised?

With the likes of popular Bethesda titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, DOOM and Wolfenstein II populating Nintendo Switch, it’s no wonder they’ve apparently been huge successes. While Bethesda Vice-President Pete Hines didn’t elaborate on exact sales numbers in this IGN video interview, he did mention their being “hugely popular” with Switch owners was the impetus behind his confirmation that the upcoming DOOM Eternal would indeed be making its way to Switch. (In case you’re not interested in a Switch version, however, rest assured it’s coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.)
Any exclusive features this Switch version of Doom Eternal may have weren’t detailed, but Mr. Hines wants us to rest assured it’ll be “another awesome experience.” Personally, yours truly is more interested in the next Elder Scrolls game heading to Switch, but hey, more options are always good!
