Been dreaming of what potential DLC for the tropical world of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey would be like? While rumors imply we’ll be taking a trip down to Atlantis, GameRant’s chat with Creative Director Jonathan Dumont has brought our first official DLC confirmation in the form of New Game+. Very little on what this feature would entail was shared, but Mr. Dumont confirmed it’ll be arriving shortly after launch. As GameRant points out, it’ll likely resemble Origins in transferring levels, abilities, items and equipment over to a new file. With multiple endings in store, it’s all the more reason to keep playing.
Assassin’s Creed fans may recall New Game+ was DLC in last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Origins, yet Mr. Dumont assures there’s plenty of content to keep us occupied otherwise; enough, in fact, to surpass Origins‘ 30 hours of playtime. Should any more reports on DLC arrive before or after the game’s October 5th release, we’ll be there to share the goods.
