The Switch and PC get a steady dose of beats and bits with Old School Musical, coming September 13th
Publisher Playdius and the ever-tangy French indie outfit La Moutarde have announced that their charming, retro-inspired rhythm game Old School Musical will be released digitally on the Nintendo Switch PC on September 13, 2018.
Old School Musical invites players to return to the golden age of gaming. In it, players take control of Tib and Rob, a duo trained by their missing mother to be top class video game heroes. To succeed, the two must stay in tune by synching inputs with flying notes to help the pair locate their missing mother. The game features both a story and arcade mode with over 20 stages that run the retro gamut between side-scrolling platformers, racers, shmups, and more. Additionally, the game sports more than 50 chiptune tracks composed by such notable genre artists as Dubmood, Zabutom, Hello World, Yponeko, Le Plancton.
