It prints money!

Nintendo Switch just keeps raking in cash — earlier today, Nintendo revealed via its Investors Relations Information that their popular console has sold over three million units in 2018’s first quarter, but 19.67 million units in lifetime total. Needless to say, the little hybrid that could is rapidly approaching to surpassing GameCube’s LTD (21 million) by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, the Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze port and Mario Tennis Aces join Nintendo’s collection of million-sellers for the platform, respectively earning 1.40m and 1.38m. Bringing the total to ten, other milestones include Super Mario Odyssey being number one at 11.17m, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild surpassing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as the series’ best-selling game (9.32m to Twilight Princess‘s 8.85m), and ARMS surpassing two million units.
Both Labo sets have also surpassed a million units, as has the re-release of the NES Classic.
