The King of Koopas finally gets his dues!

A new Nintendo-themed concert is on the day, and you won’t believe who’s the star: Bowser! That’s right, the Koopa King who’s always tormenting Mario and the gang is getting his own orchestra concert just for Japan, humorously titled “Bowser is the Hero?!”. As reported by Perfectly Nintendo, the suites will range from his very appearance in Super Mario Bros. up through Super Mario Odyssey, but no definite setlist has been announced; still, from the above banner, we can imagine his rockin’ tunes from Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy will appear (Please, Bowser’s Road!).
The concert’s set for three showings this September, with one showing on September 15th (6 PM) and two on September 16th (1 and 6 PM). Taizo Takemoto, who’s conducted various Nintendo-themed concerts (Smashing…Live!, Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert), is set to work his orchestra magic as well.
Sadly, there’s currently no word of a CD/digital release, nor is there confirmation of a paid stream similar to last year’s Kirby concert; regardless, we’ll be sure to report on any related announcements!
