Shenmue 1 & 2’s release is just over a month away. To celebrate its imminent release, Sega has released a new video offering a modern glimpse of Ryo Hazuki’s hometown of Yokosuka.

The company recently surprised YouTuber Adam Koralik and comedian Imran Yusuf, both huge fans of the Shenmue series, with a trip to the city, located in Japan’s Kanagawa prefecture, to explore some of the game’s most iconic locations in real life. In the video, we’re offered a look at the real-life shrines, dojos, storefronts, and bustling city streets that made their way into Sega’s beloved 1999 Dreamcast adventure.

So, what are you waiting for? Sit back and join this pair of Shenmue superfans as they Yokosuka in the video below:

Shenmue 1 & 2 is slated to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 21, 2018, for $29.99. The games will include numerous enhancements such as a fully scalable screen resolution, both modern and classic control schemes and an updated UI, and both Japanese and English voice tracks.
