Naked Sun brings cybernetic shootouts to PC next week, PSVR release to follow in August
Naked Sun, the upcoming VR first-person shooter from London-based Door Z Studio, is making its debut on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on July 17, with a PlayStation VR version to follow in August.
The game’s story is set against the backdrop of a dystopian vision of the 23rd century. Blackbird, the first successful bioengineered hybrid of man and machine, is mankind’s last hope after robots turn against their creators and begin to purge the earth of humanity. Now, with mankind on the ropes and hiding in far-flung areas called Deadlands, it’s up to Blackbird to strike back by commandeering a cargo train bound for the Mexico City arcology to knock the city’s automated defense systems offline and begin to reclaim the planet from its evil robotic overlords.
