Prepare to rip & tear on August 10 with Doom Eternal’s gameplay reveal
Since it was first announced during Bethesda’s E3 conference, the wait to see Doom Eternal in action has been nothing short of torture. Now, thankfully, we finally now know exactly when we’ll be able to take a peek at the first bit of gib-soaked gameplay.
The game’s publisher Bethesda today confirmed that the Doom Eternal will be showcased on Friday, August 10 during a QuakeCon live stream. That’s right. In just four weeks we’ll know what gory wonders await in the latest entry in id Software’s long-running FPS franchise.

Doom Eternal is the direct sequel to id Software’s hugely successful 2016 Doom reboot. While little is known about the game – including where the story will take place or who the main antagonist will be – we do know that composer Mick Gordon will once again be lending his talents to the project.
